The Pee Dee's rich heritage runs deep in JD Chaplin's life. He's a fourth-generation row crop farmer coming from a family that has worked the land around Hartsville for 85 years. Faith is an essential part of JD's life.

He's a member of Black Creek Baptist Church in Dovesville, and completed his education at Charleston Southern University, a faith-based college, where he received a degree in history.
